I recently visited an author’s website (an author I’ve known and respected for years) and at the bottom of the site there’s the standard “do not copy without written permission” but there was also “ask for permission before linking to my website.”
My jaw dropped a bit when I read that.

1. Your name. You want it big across the top of the page. But you
should also have it in text somewhere on the page.
This is a great way for search engines to find you. Also, if your name
is written across the page in a weird color or a hard
